Paul Delouvrier

Un grand commis de l'Etat
Edited by Sébastien-Yves Laurent, Jean-Eudes Rouiller

The Center of 20th Century European History (Chevs) at Sciences Po and the Paul Delouvrier Institute have come together to open their archives and organize a symposium around the career of Paul Delouvrier. This work, in publishing the principal lectures, retraces the exceptional path of this prominent figure of postwar France. In his time, inspector of finances, and Head of the financial division at the commissariat general on the Algerian Plan, he then collaborated to the European reconstruction at the side of Jean Monnet, while developing the Paris region and creating new satellite cities.
