François Audigier is a professor of contemporary history at the University of Lorraine.
Images of political violence are everywhere: terrorist attacks, vandalism against public infrastructures, bossnapping, etc. The authors of this book coldly takes the side of the data, compiling a database of some 6,000 episodes of political violence between 1986 and today, and categorising them according to the nature of the cause being defended.
