Les jeunes et la gauche

Political parties often boast of the number of young people in the ranks of their sympathisers and voters, as if the support of youth guaranteed a party's capacity to bring about changes in society or to propose bold policies. But are young people really so différent from their elders and, because of their âge, anxious for deep transformations of the world in which they live ? This book endeavours to answer thèse questions by showing, on the basis of a French survey, which young people choose which left-wing parties and which social and political projects are behind the support for the Communists, the Socialists and the extrême left.
