Amélie Bescont

Amélie Bescont is a PhD candidate in Political Theory and Psychoanalytic studies at Sciences Po Paris (where she is affiliated with the CEVIPOF) and at the Department of Psychoanalytic Studies of the University Paris VII. In her dissertation, she is mobilizing the discourses on women's criminality in order to develop a feminist and Foucauldian understanding of the concept of agency. Her publications more generally address issues of gender and violence.
