Les recherches de Bruno Cautrès portent sur l'analyse des comportements et des attitudes politiques. Il travaille également sur les clivages sociaux et politiques liés à l’Europe et à l’intégration européenne dans les électorats et les opinions publiques.
Le dernier ouvrage de Bruno Cautrès intitulé La Turquie en Europe, l’opinion des Européens et des Turcs, co-écrit avec Nicolas Monceau, (Paris, Presses de Sciences Po), est paru le 26 mai 2011.

Parallel Lives: Social Comparison across National Boundaries
Jonathan White's research interests lie in the fields of political sociology and applied political theory, with a particular focus on contemporary European democracy and EU integration. Themes of special interest are political engagement and public opinion, models of citizenship under conditions of transnational integration, and the nature of social bonds. His work draws on democratic theory, interpretative social theory, and qualitative research methods.
He has recently published Political Allegiance after European Integration (Palgrave Macmillan, April 2011)
